The nave is flanked by north and south aisles, making three sections of seating separated by arches. In the south-east corner is a grand piano. On the wall behind the piano there is a rack containing the numbers of the hymns to help the congregation find them in the hymn-book.
Sunlight streams through the windows on the south side, two of which are composed of coloured glass depicting biblical themes.
To the right is a window which shows Mary and Joseph presenting Jesus at the temple as a baby, and it quotes the response of the priest Simeon “Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace” (Luke 2:29). Anna is standing behind Simeon. A panel at the bottom tells us that the window was given in memory of George Orme in 1895.
